A term I coined in a poem about a sadistic social worker, busily ripping children from their parents.
How it applies to the management at The Countess of Chester Hospital. Dripping with accolades for their ‘excellence’, ignoring the brave consultants and others warning them that a killer was at large.
They then threatened anyone who spoke about Letby’s activities with referral to the GMC, whilst assisting Letby with her ‘grievance claim’ against those who had the cheek to notice she was a homicidal maniac.
Those managerial nihilists even offered this monster a funded degree in childcare and visiting role at a specialist children’s hospital, to assuage her hurt feelings. When Old Bill were finally called in, it took them one hour to decide they were dealing with a serial killer. The consultants’ complaints had taken months to be even answered, and then via an e-mail saying: ‘Emails to cease. A line has been drawn under this. Anyone who crosses that line will face consequences.’
Thankfully, ‘lessons will now be learnt’ - shorthand for a kicking into the long-grass enquiry and some bullshit about ‘processes’. Yet more managers will be needed, to make sure this doesn’t happen again, until the next time it happens. Repeat cycle ad infinitum, with more management added each time.
The NHS saved my life three years ago: the Churchill Hospital Oxford’s wonderful medical staff (doctors, surgeons, nurses). It’s horrible to think of the power wielded by the Chester hospital’s brainless ‘managers’, how they bullied clinical staff. Their management speak and mindset facilitated infanticide. They must be charged with manslaughter, if not more.
Those poor children and their parents’ suffering disgraces this country. We’ve allowed a managerial takeover of our lives. A fightback is vital, wherever thick-as-shit 'managers’ strut around like feudal barons, basted in public money, doing fuck-all (at best).
I’ve seen it at work in education, always the same tactics: Relentless smiley propaganda, gimmicky slogans, merciless bullying of those who see the reality and not the fantasy. We saw it at full-throttle during the ‘pandemic’. It’s now doing the same over net-zero, gender identity and Low Traffic Neighbourhoods.
But its most shameful manifestation is in Lucy Letby and her enablers.
I wish to apologise to all 🐽🐷out there. My offence was not intended🥹. They do not deserve to be tarred with such a henhouse label. ‘Managment’
Thick as 💩is too kind - try thick as 🐷🐽💩. Tell me about it- they are on my case at the moment. It’s all about making THEMSELVES looking good.
When I first started in the ‘public sector’ circa 1986. We had a Hospital Senior Medic, Senior Nurse and Hospital secretary . Each department then had a supervisor that ran the show- that was it. Even working within I cannot see what da management do.
